Your governing body must pass an ordinance or a resolution authorizing participation in IMET, then complete an IMET Account Application Form. Return the form and establish an account with an initial investment of $50,000 or more for the 1-3 Year Fund or an initial investment of $25,000 or more for the Convenience Fund.   

To close an IMET account or bring the balance of an account to a 'zero balance', the participant places a call to the operations desk with the redemption instructions and informs operations to include all accrued earnings in order 'zero' the account.    

The great majority of our investors are Municipalities with Pension Funds being our second largest group of investors.
